Demo: #1

Step #1: Setting Up the Font Size of the Main Body

As you can see, the font size of the body of the website is smaller than the font size which is set by default ( 18px). In this demo, it's set to 16px. You can change the font size of the body in the Customizer.

Step #2: Setting Up Google Fonts

In this demo, we are using Ovo font for the body and Prata font for the headings. These are Google fonts and you can set the fonts in the Customizer.

Step #3: Changing the Accent Color

The default accent color of the theme is blue but you can change it to any color you want. In this demo, you can see that the accent color is purple, and you can change it in the Customizer.

Step #4: Adding the Go to the Top Button

The current demo comes with a button that allows users to smoothly scroll back to the top of page. By default, this button is disabled but you can enable the Back to Top button in the Customizer.

Step #5: Changing the Size of Featured Images in Archive Views

As you've might noticed, the size of the featured image in archive views looks a little bit different compared to the default settings. That's because the current demo displays an original image size of your featured image. You can  select a size of the Featured Image in the Customizer.

Step: #6: Changing the Layout of Footer Widget Area

By default, the theme will display a four columns layout in the footer widget area. In this demo, you can see that the footer widget area has a three columns layout. The layout of the footer widget area can be changed in the Customizer.

Step: #7: Adding Widgets

If the sidebar is inactive, your blog page will have a full width. In order to activate the sidebar you need to add widgets to the sidebar widget area. You can also add widgets to the footer area. You can also add Twitter timeline to your widget area by using the Text widget. Simply generate your Twitter widget code and paste it to the Text widget in the Text tab.

Step #8: Customizing Your Blog Page

By default, Goedemorgen displays a full post content on the blog page. In order to create summaries, please use the More tag. If you specify a Featured Image for each post, it will be displayed under its header.

Step #9: Creating a Custom Menu + Social Menu

If the custom menu is not created or the menu location is not set then Goedemorgen will display all your pages in the header section. In order to only display the right pages, please  create a custom menu. Also, you can create a social menu by using the custom menu.
