Changing Fonts in the Theme

By default, Goedemorgen comes with two different Google fonts: Open Sans which is used for the body and Raleway which is used for the headings. The body font is the default font which is used for text in the page body while the heading font is used for the heading elements which are defined with the <h1> to <h6> tags.

Also, Goedemorgen includes a list of more than 600 quality Google fonts which you can use to replace the default fonts. To learn how to change the default fonts, please see instructions below:

Changing a Body Font Family

  1. Go to the Customizer and click on the Typography menu.
  2. In that section, click the Body menu to open the Body Customize Screen.
  3. Under the Body Font Family label, select the body font family you want to have on your website.
  4. Click the Save & Publish button at the top right of the Customizer to activate the body font family on your website.

Changing Headings Font Family

  1. Go to the Customizer and click on the Typography menu.
  2. In that section, click the Headings menu to open the Headings Customize Screen.
  3. Under the Headings Font Family label, select the headings font family you want to have on your website.
  4. Click the Save & Publish button at the top right of the Customizer to activate the headings font family on your website.
