Adding Buttons to Your Content

By default, WordPress does not provide any functionality to add buttons to your content. As we know, buttons play important role in any website because they are used as a primary call to action. To resolve this problem, you can either install a plugin that has such functionality, or style your own buttons via CSS.

Goedemorgen comes with predefined button styles that are often used in a theme design. For example, Read More button or Edit button. You can also use this styles to create your custom button. In this case, you do not need to install any plugins or to add a custom CSS.

Adding these styles can be added in your Dashboard. Open the Visual editor and add a link to your content. To add a link, click the Insert/edit link button on the toolbar.

Once the link is added, switch from Visual editor to Text editor. In this case, you will be able to add a custom class to your link:

  • Add a CSS class button to your link to create a regular button.
  • Add CSS classes button and secondary-button to your link to create a secondary button.
  • Add CSS classes button and minimal-button to your link to create a minimal button.
